Although time and chance happen to them all, this evergreen game of opposite attraction is certainly not for the feeble minded. As a man living in this era of extremely sophisticated women folk (and you want your lines to fall in pleasant places), you must master the skills required to help you gain major grounds with the one your eyes behold. This issue is so relevant that it has captured the attention of scientists who have embarked upon research to decipher what women find most appealing about men….
At some point in this game, all it took for a man to get the attention of a woman was to be Tall, Dark, Handsome (TDH), and with money in his pocket (lol). But in an ever-evolving world where the dynamics constantly change, attraction tends to mean different things to different women. While some women want a man to be able to afford all of the luxuries that life has to offer, some other women just want the simple and rustic traits in their men.
Below are some of the major qualities that women find appealing about men:
Great sense of humour
This trait is a must-have for any man. Even scientists have ascertained that it makes men seem more intelligent. I mean the fact that he can create fun and find ease out of a seemingly sticky situation counts massively for most women. Finding a balance is key to any relationship, knowing when to make a joke and when to tease is a skill every man must master.
The height matter
We cannot overlook this fact; women tend to want taller men simply for the fact that it will complement their height and create a great contrast in pictures. I know it sounds like a myth, but tall men come off as protectors and there is something reassuring about this attribute. So as a man looking to capture a lady’s attention, don’t slouch. Please stand up straight and be confident.
The manly man
AKA the man with purpose and drive. There is no gainsaying that women want to be associated with success and a man that has been able to culminate that level of success will definitely check that list for most women. The success here is knowing his purpose and going after it not minding the setbacks. Women find this attribute extremely alluring.
Good character
You know the saying that goes thus “manners maketh man”. I mean the icing on the cake is when a man is able to possess sound character, one that is able to treat people with respect, help out with chores at home, takes great care of his parents and siblings, one who opens the door for his lady or for anyone coming behind him, an honest and trustworthy man that supports the goals and dreams of his lady and strives to make her happy by every means necessary and top it up with great intellect. Oh! Women find such men very attractive.
Sense of style
One thing that makes a woman very excited is when a man is well put together. We sure like for our men to be dapper each time we step out to grab a bite or to attend a function. It improves the conversation and allows for fluidity. Plus, it projects the woman as someone with finesse or great taste. If he is also able to indulge in frequent exercise to keep fit and he has a “6 pack”… Hmmm! We’ll leave it right there with smiles.
Remember that as a man, flattery may come in handy sometimes, but good character alongside dignity, purpose, and intellect will break barriers for you.
