Anyone can be fashionable but not everyone is stylish. Style is the ability to express a character or form in a distinct way, style stands out from the crowd. Style is your best self. A lot of times people think you have to go above and beyond to look great, or have so many outfits to posture as stylish, but we’ll talk about how the simplest of clothing can be turned and worn in various ways because that’s what style really is.
Everyone at least has a black tee shirt in their wardrobe or should be thinking of getting one because why not? We’re going to look at how versatile a black t-shirt can be when it comes to styling.
The first look would be something easy right of the bat; pairing your tee with minis/ shorts. Whether you want to look casual or dressy miniskirts and shorts would always come to your rescue, top it off with a pair of mules for a chicer look or a pair of sneakers for a more laidback casual look.
Next up we have flared/palazzo pants; this gives you a really cool look and can also be dressed up or down whether with heels, sandals, sneakers or boots and you’re good to go.
If you are looking for a little bit of pizzaz try wearing an oversized blazer or a waistcoat on your t-shirt and watch a regular look turn into a fire look that could be worn to work, an event or brunch. Pair it with some nice pants or jeans and heels/mules/sneakers.
We can’t forget a pair of oversized (mom) jeans, thanks to 90s and y2k fashion making a comeback this piece of clothing adds all the cool and fun tones to any outfit. Pairing this with your black t-shirt tucked, untucked or cropped makes you look great. Don’t forget to spruce it up with the right footwear in mules or sneakers.
Last but not least, pair your tee with beautiful bright prints whether pants or skirts. These prints could be Ankara or any other type of print, but know for sure this brightens your look and gives it a nice edge. You would go from work or church ready to cocktail ready with a nice pair of heels and or boots.
Fashion fails, only style remains the same.
